2026-27 Davison County 250th Gallery
This 250th inspired artwork from area artists will hang in the Davison County Courthouse at 200 E 4th Ave in Mitchell, SD 57301 from August 1st, 2026 to July 31st, 2027.
This public gallery is a collaboration between Davison County and Mitchell Area Arts. Panels were provided to interested artists to complete artwork they felt was inspired by the 250th year of America. Art panels used were 1/8” gessobord in various styles by Ambersand, a museum series panel that can be hung and removed without damaging the historic marble walls within the courthouse. Visiting hours are 8AM-5PM M-F. You can visit this small gallery outside the Register of Deeds office. Artwork is not for sale while on display.
